The Third Prayer

In honor of our three year anniversary, below is a list of the 100 things I love about you.  These are in no particular order.

I love you.

 

 

1.       I love how you want your hair to look absolutely perfect everyday.

2.       Along those lines, I love your addiction to Crew Fiber.

3.       I love how Mary Rene finds the mole on your neck very interesting.

4.       I love the way you butter bread.

5.       I love when I look in your hazel eyes I can see how much you love me.

6.       I love when you are getting ready in the morning you curl your lips to the side when you look in the mirror at yourself.

7.       I love how you think your feet are sexy.

8.       I love your soft skin and smooth hands.

9.       I love how you tell me to leave the room so you can have “Frank time” and weigh yourself.

10.   I love your Frank jokes.

11.   I love how you act goofy just to make me laugh.

12.   I love the way you make ape noises “ooh ooh” when you read Mary Rene’s jungle book.

13.   I love how you always call me when you get off work to tell me you are coming home.

14.   I love how no matter how bad your day is, you always have a smile on your face when you walk in the door.

15.   I love how when I open the door and let Sophie run towards you, you act super excited to see her.

16.   I love when I put Mary Rene to bed and Sophie walks in the room you loudly whisper, “Sophie, Sophie, Sophie.”  It is so hard for me not to laugh.

17.   I love the way you sleep.  You sprawl out and your body takes form into the bed.  Mary Rene sleeps just like you!

18.   I love the way you respect your parents.

19.   I love how when you have tickets to the baseball game you always want to take your dad over a friend.

20.   I love how you have a close relationship with your mom.

21.   I love how excited you are to be vacationing with your parents this weekend.

22.   I love how easily you can recall childhood memories.

23.   I love that you are open to life.

24.   I love how you think you have to talk loud on the phone with people so they can hear you.

25.   I love how you get excited when you grill a good chicken.

26.   I love how you get excited when you cook anything.

27.   I love how you enjoy your food and always compliment me on a good meal.

28.   I loved when I was pregnant how you rubbed my back all the time and made sure I was comfortable.

29.   I loved those last couple of weeks of pregnancy how you kept asking me, “are you having contractions yet?” because you were so excited.

30.   I love that you knew we were having a girl.

31.   I love the fact that when I was in labor the nurse kept mentioning our “baby girl” and you didn’t tell me that she slipped and said the gender.

32.   I love how you cried when Mary Rene was born.

33.   I love how you looked right at me, with tears in your eyes, and cried the words “she’s a girl!”

34.   I love how you were more emotional then I was in the delivery room.

35.   I love how you took really good care of me when I was in labor.

36.   I love how you play “I’m gonna get you” with Mary Rene on our bed.

37.   I love when you take extra time out in the morning to play with Mary Rene when she is waiting for you to get out of the shower.

38.   I love how you have a personal relationship with God.

39.   I love how you were involved in CHIRP and RCIA.

40.   I love when you read Psalms at night while I am getting Mary Rene ready for bed.

41.   I love when we do our good night prayers with Mary Rene and you name everyone you can think of to pray for that day.

42.   I love how you want to be in charge of family prayers because it is important for Mary Rene to see her daddy in that role.

43.   I love how, without a doubt, church is the most important thing to you on Sunday.

44.   I love your new desire to go to Confession once a month.

45.   I love how you give Mary Rene God’s Blessings everyday.

46.   I love when at the sign of the peace you always kiss me and shake my hand.

47.   I love how you get excited to go on vacation and start making list.

48.   I love how when we get a chance to go out to dinner you do all the research on the internet.

49.   I love your faithfulness.

50.   I love your loyalty.

51.   I love the way you are patient with me.

52.   I love the way you love me for who I am and not who I should be.

53.   I love the way you listen to my crazy ideas and never tell me I am crazy.

54.   I love that you don’t get too upset when I shot down your ideas.

55.   I love that you let me work part-time so I can be home with Mary Rene.

56.   I love that you are understanding that we don’t have as much money to throw around like we did before.

57.   I love how you get up every morning and go to work for us.

58.   I love that you love your job.

59.   I love that you don’t give into gossiping at work.

60.   I love how you help out the new girl (Vanessa!!!) at work and make her feel comfortable.

61.   I love how you miss Lee.

62.   I love that you are trustworthy .

63.   I love how you are a romantic at heart.

64.   I love when you write me special notes on my napkins at dinner.

65.   I love that you look past the ugliness of our house and call it a home.

66.   I love the way you hold me close when we kiss.

67.   I love the way you kiss.

68.   I love the way you give me that look.

69.   I love how safe I feel when I am in your arms.

70.   I love when I am upset you know just the right words to say to make it better.

71.   I love when I have a million things on my mind you are able to calm me down and bring me back to earth.

72.   I love how when I am having a hard time getting Mary Rene to sleep at night you always offer to help.

73.   I love the way you freak out about poopy diapers still.

74.   I love your sense of style.

75.   I love when you pick out my clothes.

76.   I love how you worry about what other people think because you care so much.

77.   I love how you are a good friend to Shawn.

78.   I love how you get excited when Tony D comes into town.

79.   I love the fact that you don’t have to go out on the weekends and are fine staying home with Mary Rene and me.

80.   I love calling you Francis.

81.   I love your nickname Jackie.

82.   I love how excited you got to fix my parents’ pool.

83.   I love how you are friends with my brother’s friends.

84.   I love how you are comfort enough with them to walk around in your underwear.

85.   I love your quick 15 minute workouts and then you go weigh yourself to see if you lost any weight.

86.   I love when you do the Biggest Loser and you talk to Mary Rene and she is captivated by you lifting weighs.

87.   I love that you are completely okay with me out running you.

88.   I love that you are not afraid to take a break when the workout is too hard.

89.   On that same note, I love that you accept your humanity and know you are not perfect.

90.   I love Monday date nights and how you set the table with our fine china.

91.   I love when you open a bottle of wine and do a toast.

92.   I love when you get the lights dimmed, light a candle and have soft music playing to set the mood for our dinner.

93.   I love how you don’t let me worry about the small stuff too much.

94.   I love that you make me want to be a better person.

95.   I love that you are “The One”.

96.   I love how much we have grown together over these past few years.

97.   I love that you understand: Love is not always a feeling, it is a decision.

98.   I love the fact that you know that everyday isn’t easy but it is worth the work.

99.   I love your commitment to our marriage.

100. Without a doubt, I love being your wife.
