Pink Floyd date night - that’s awesome!

It’s hard to see our babies get shots. That’s cool that her ped’s office gave her a popsicle. Hope things are well with Mary Rene’s pupil.

We went to Wild Lights at the Zoo with Momslikeme.com on the 18th. My husband wasn’t able to go, so I think we are going back on the 29th (tonight). We are Zoo members also and love it.

When Nathan was ready to be moved out of his crib, we just went and bought a box spring and mattress and laid them on the floor on top of each other. We got a side protector so he can’t roll off and it went really well. It might be cheaper then spending the money on a toddler bed. However, our crib converts to a toddler bed (if we have all the pieces) so we may do that with Autumn since we aren’t having anymore. Hope she likes her new bed!! I am just nursing Autumn before work and at night before bed now… however, sometimes I do nurse her after work still, too. I’ll be sad when she is done because she is my last baby Its hard to think that my nursing days are numbered! oh well!

That is too cute about Mary giving Ella’s picture kisses. I love it!

I empathize with your sleep situation. We went through the same thing with Ella. She was in our bed stiil at 14 months, still waking up to nurse. I was exhausted and finally hit my breaking point. A friend loaned me a book and we followed the steps and it worked. It wasn’t a total cry it out method, but some crying was involved - both from me and Ella, unfortunately. It only took a few nights though and then….sleep. You don’t know how badly you’re missing a full nights sleep until you get it back. It’s heaven. Hang in there. I’ll be thinking of you and praying with you.

Love the Pink Floyd date night! You and Frank are such a great couple.

I remember trying to stop the nursing in the middle of the night. It is very hard! Elaine still wakes up at night every night even though she is not nursing anymore. I think it is habit for her. She has a “Big” girl bed, but her room is so cold she has been sleeping with us for a while so I doubt it will be easy getting her in her own bed anytime soon.

We also have all our friends kids pictures on our fridge. We have two of Mary Rene! (We have Missy’s little boys pics on there too) Elaine loves to look at them.
