I am sorry. I have joked for years that I am “due in September” because being very pregnant during the heat of summer is one of the worst things that I can think of. And honestly, being pregnant while dealing with a toddler has got to be so much harder than being pregnant with no children. And you’ve got sleep issues on top of that!

All I can say is “this too shall pass” and hope that it passes quickly for you!

I think that may be part of the reason Pat is done with pregnancy. Summer is too hot to be nearing the end of pregnancy for sure.

Oh, Sweetie. I’m so sorry that you are feeling so lousy right now. I can relate. Annemarie was born Aug. 28, so I was pregnant the whole summer too. BUT this summer is definitely hotter that 1985 was! The cough sounds horrible!! Hang in there…you’ll make it! (it’s not like you have a choice!). Take care, lots of love and prayers to you!!

Hey Trina,

Hang in there. I don’t know how many times I said I was ready when I was pregnant with Jacy and he ended up coming at 35 weeks, but because of that he was hospitalized for 7 days. That was horrible for me, having to leave the hospital with out my baby. Let her take just a little more time, so when she does come she is ready. I hope all is well with you and your family. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Hey Trena,
Congrats on your child-led weaning. I realize that you were not trying to wean, but obviously you were open to it, when Mary Rene decided it was time. (not like you can force a child to nurse even if you wanted to…it’s so silly that some people actually thing that you can.) This is one of many times to come when yours and Mary Rene’s timing on miliestones might not exactly match! It’s both a happy and sad time…..your sweet little one is growing up fast…but growing up is what she is supposed to be doing! But don’t be surprised if she decides to sample the milk again when the baby arrives, just for old time’s sake! lots of love. Joanne
